A real good moment at the YOKAINOSHIMA show, curated by Reiko Setsuda with the help of the architect Jumpey Matsushima (JP, architect).
The show divided in two big rooms received a special scenography experimenting another way of showing this series.
It’s physical and pretty intuitive. A set of the WILDER MANN series is meeting for the first time the TOSHIGAMI of the YOKAINOSHIMA series…
The YOKAINOSHIMA BOOK will come out in two months with Thames & Hudson, in England and USA, SEIGENSHA in Japan, Actes Sud in France and Peliti in Italy.
ANd the series will be exhibited at the Les Rencontres de la photographie, Arles this summer! SO you’ll have more chance to discover this new series.
Until this, if you’re in Tokyo, you can discover the work at LE FORUM, GINZA, FONDATION HERMES in Tokyo from the 19th of february to the 15th of May.
